Limerick is probably Ireland's last unspoiled city. From a tourist point of view it might not seem to hold the same allure as Cork or Galway, but as it is twenty minutes by bus from Shannon Airport, it is easy to spend a few hours in Limerick at least. http://wikitravel.org/en/Limerick
